Iran short film ‘The Distance’ has succeeded to receive Best Short Film Special Award and Best Critics Special Award from the 2nd edition of Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival in Hungary.
Directed by Yousef Kargar,’ The Distance’ attended the Hungarian film event and bagged Best Short Film Special Award and Best Critics Special Award.
Kargar's short flick narrates the story of a young man, Yashar, who wants to inform the family of his friend, Araz, about him. In contrast, Araz’s family gives him a newer piece of news.
The flick has so far succeeded to attend the 62nd edition of the Cork Film Festival in Ireland, the 26th edition of Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea, and the 46th Huesca International Film Festival.
The second edition of Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival was held on May 9-12, 2018, in Szeged, Hungary.
